Geneo has a friend he hangs around with. I don't know if he is a best friend, bosom buddy, casual acquaintance, or what. It's really hard to tell with those two. It may be a guy thing, but even though they spend a lot of time together, they certainly wouldn't want anyone to know they want to be like each other.
That's why I was surprised when the friend bought a new winter cap, and Geneo wanted one like it. They are the kind that have the ear flaps. They have to be he-man, because they got them at Atwoods, and everyone knows that's a real man's store. They say they got them to keep their head and ears warm, but the young people are wearing them because they are cool. Does that make Geneo and his friend warm or cool? It's very confusing.
The friend says his cap will keep his eustachian tubes warm. Now he is wanting to take it off his income tax as a medical expense. Seriously?? Does he think the IRS cares about his eustachian tubes? I guess it is worth a try.
Anyway, now the two guys have hats that are similar. They are not exactly alike because that wouldn't be cool, but they would still be warm. I haven't seen the friend in his hat, but I have seen Geneo. And I can't decide if he looks like Grizzly Adams or Elmer Fudd.
